Basic:
  • All heroes are either 100 or 200 point characters.  GM's discretion, please check with Matt for instructions.
  • Reputation may increase to a maximum of 200, rather than 120.

Swordsman Schools

Drachenburg (Kristyn)
(Nation of Origin): Eisen
(Basic Curriculum): Heavy Weapons, Shield
(Knacks): Attack (Shield), Corps-a-Corps, Wall of Steel (Shield), Exploit Weakness (Drachenburg)

(Apprentice): Students of Drachenburg receive one free Raise to all Heavy Weapon and Shield knacks.  Student also recieve a discount to the cost of grandmastering with Kjemper.
(Journeyman): +1k0 Shield damage per mastery level.
(Master): When a student of the Drachenburg school reaches this level of mastery, they have become so adept with the use of a shield that they may attack with a shield and a sword on a single initiative phase.  The shield attack may only be made after the successful resolution of the sword attack.  They roll both sword and shield damage.  If one misses, so does the other.

L (Joey)
(Nation of Origin): Vodacce
(Basic Curriculum): Fencing, Knife
(Knacks): Double Parry, Stop Thrust, Tagging, Exploit Weakness (L)

(Apprentice): One free raise to Stop Thrust.  Students recieve a discount to Grand Mastering L with Villanova.
(Journeyman): One free dot in stop Thrust, this allows students to learn Stop Thrust to the 6th dot.  If this dot is your 6th dot, then you may purchase your 6th dot at 25xp.
(Master): May spend a drama die to automatically score a dramatic wound when using Stop Thrust.  One one drama die may be spent in this way at a time.

Pemberly (Matt)

(Nation of Origin): Vodacce
(Basic Curriculum): Fencing, Firearms
(Knacks): Double Parry, Stop Thrust, Tagging, Exploit Weakness (L)
(Special): Reduced cost (15 HP) for Heroes with Ambrosia Sword School

(Apprentice): May draw and fire a pistol with one action.
(Journeyman): May take Pummel Strike under both Fencing and Firearms and may use Pummel Strike (Fencing) as bonus dice for Pummel Strike (Pistols).
(Master): The opponent must make a number of raises on their next attack equal to the raises scored by the Pemberly master with their last gun attack.

Sorcery

R.I.P. Pemberly (Wits)[Avalon]

(Apprentice): Spend a Drama die to divide the construction time for any bomb by 5 for every rank in this knack.
(Adept): Choose which to use (Heroes have access to each of the listed effects):

  • Spend a Drama die to adjust an explosion by one minute per rank in this knack. This can adjust a timed explosive, delay or hasten an explosion, or hasten or slow the time it takes for a fuse to burn.

  • Spend a Drama die to increase your resistance to interrogation by 10 times your rank in this in this knack.

  • Spend a Drama die to get an immediate free attack. During combat, this can be taken on any phase and allow the hero to choose when on that phase they get to go. This can also be made out of combat and precedes any other action.
(Master): Spend a Drama die to add 10 times your rank in this knack to any natural philosophy roll.
